A Spectacular Event at Oak Grove on July 4.
In celebration of Independence Day, Oak Grove came together in community unity. Decorated in the spirit of the holiday, golf carts, bicycles, wagons and strollers, about 50 of the residence of Oak Grove paraded up one street and down another. The colorful and highlighted event concluded at the Gazebo here in Oak Grove.
Orchestrated by Oak Groves own social committee the parade was a great success! Afterward, there was a gathering around the clubhouse, playground and swimming pools, with an array of food and friendship. There was superb entertainment for the holiday provided by the classic rock band “Tongue and Groove”, leading the evening to an exciting climax with sparklers lighting up the evening etching great memories of yet another year of American Freedom.
